As Web Applications Developer, your mission is to help create, maintain, and improve our growing portfolio of custom internal and external applications. During the first year, you'll predominantly be focused on developing the web interface and underlying business layers of an IVR/Mobile system that communicates with a back-end database and telephony platform. You'll then move on to developing a wide variety of applications/features, from internal intranet functionalities to external integration to fun and clever promotions.

Reporting directly to our President, you will join our IT department at our Irvine office. You will contribute to and often lead a wide variety of projects regarding internal and external applications, including maintenance, improvement, and new development. You can expect a steady flow of fresh challenges involving new products and features, large projects, and extensive data manipulation.
As you can imagine, this is a "hit the ground running" position and your initial challenges revolve around scaling the learning curve with respect to our applications and working with off-site team members in a fast-paced environment. You'll utilize both your technical and people skills to effectively leverage resources within the company and perform at full-speed.
In some ways you will be a "jack of all trades," stepping in to develop a feature or function when a project team doesn't have the staff or time, or when we need something fast to respond to a customer's needs. The particulars of projects will depend on opportunities and needs that arise, but deadlines are a constant consideration.
We're constantly developing web features and you'll help us ensure consistency across our applications by employing best practices and documenting your processes.

Our channels include voice marketing, mobile marketing/text messaging, and email marketing. We augment these channels with a variety of tools, such as interactive voice response (IVR) systems to automate any kind of customer management and communication opportunity and microsites to capture any and all information from customers. Although we will make our billionth consumer contact on behalf of retail marketers this year, we are still not satisfied, and pursue an aggressive R&D program.
